AFFILIATE PARTICIPATION

If you are a fly shop operator or maintain an active internet site, you can participate in our marketing program that allows your customers to use your website to order custom made DVDs.

We also offer a program that allows you to order multiple copies of a DVD you create from our inventory. The DVDs are professionally packaged and appropriate for display in a retail setting with your company name imprinted on the cover. Currently our library consists of 79 fly patterns from which to choose. We have twice that many “in the can” ready to place into the shopping cart—168 in all! Plans are being made to introduce still other patterns. Customers can make their choices by insect category and by going to the Key Word Search and find all of one tyer’s patterns and by entering an individual pattern name.

The primary advantages of becoming an affiliate site are:

  7. and meeting customer demand for quality DVDs.

Furthermore, being an affiliate of this “media on demand” marketing program gives you something new and fresh to promote in your catalogs, direct mail and on your website.

How is it Done

The potential customer enters your web site and selects the appropriate button/banner that will take them to the shopping cart—which has your identification or logo.

  1. They begin making their choices (minimum of five). As they place their selections in the shopping cart, they see the Disc Information dial that fills up as new selections are placed into the cart. A disc holds as many as two hours of media with DVD resolution. Five selections, on average, fills only slightly more than an hour. Customers will be encouraged to fill the disc with additional picks at $4.95 for each.
  2. When customers are satisfied with their choices they are asked for charging and shipping information. Once this information is collected, the order goes into motion.
  3. The order is sent directly to our manufacturing service center and their personalized DVD is created. Titles of the selected flies are clearly labeled.
  4. The disc is typically shipped that day or within one to two day business days via 1st class mail.
  5. Through a personal password, you will be able to track internet sales activity as it happens. You receive an accounting of each transaction at the end of each month and receive a check according to sales.

Your responsibility

To participate we ask you to:

  1. Place a banner or prominent button on your web page that will lead potential customers to the shopping cart that bears your logo or identification. It is important to us that your customers identify with you.
  2. Allot space in your catalogs and mailings to alert your customers that custom made DVDs are available through your website, or store. Video Ventures will be glad to help you develop this announcement.
  3. It is your decision if you want Video Ventures to handle customer concerns. Otherwise, this becomes your responsibility. Of course, we will be available to help you with answers.

Video Ventures’ Responsibility

  1. Video Ventures offers affiliate sites a generous discount on all sales.
  2. Our independent accounting firm generates an end-of-the-month report on sales. From this Video Ventures calculate your discount and issues payment. We issue you a password that makes it possible for you to track sales activity during the month.
  3. Video Ventures will continue to add new titles to the already large library, and replace the slower moving titles.
  4. You might prefer to maintain contact with your customers yourself if questions or concerns come up. However, Video Ventures will be available to handle customer returns/questions/concerns for you.
